This basically sums up faith. If you can't accept the way things are and the way you would like them to be, then what is the point of faith? I know, personally, I have had a hard time believing in faith alone. It's hard for people to accept things they can not see or touch.
Faith is the single thing in life that can bring you through anything. I don't neccessarily mean God or a higher power when I say faith. You can also have faith in yourself which I believe is the single most important thing. You have to accept that life isn't perfect, but you have to take everything for what it's worth. I often think about things I can not change instead of vice versa. If I, or you, could live on only faith, we would be much happier with our everyday lives. Instead, it's human nature to always want more.
So what is the key to having faith? Having patience.
Patience is defined as "good-natured tolerance of delay or incompetence". Good-natured being the key word. It's hard to have patience when you don't have faith that the outcome will be favorable. When others ask you to "have patience" or to "be patient", they are essentially asking you to have faith that the outcome or result will be favorable. If you do have this faith, then it is good advice. However, if you do not have this faith, then you are not being impatient, you simply have the feeling that you are getting nowhere and you should change your course of action.
If everyone could understand and grasp the concept of Faith and Patience, our lives would feel more productive. Life is a journey of faith, and if you can never accept that, you can never be truly happy. So, next time you are feeling impatient, think about your faith. Are you willing to be good-natured and await the outcome? or do you need to change your course of action?

I fear I am always changing my course of action and trying to manipulate what is in front of me.
